The process begins with story sharing, which allows people to have open dialogue about difficult or painful experiences in a safe and respectful space with consideration for each person.
Sharing the truth of our reality in every sentence gives individuals the power to control the narrative of their own experience in a safe and comfortable space.
This healing tradition started in Indigenous and Native American communities. The Circle symbolizes unity and we are all connected; spiritually, and emotionally.
Fragrances such as; sage, lavender, eucalyptus are used as aromatherapy to calm the senses and relieve the space of negative energy.
Qigong (Chee-gong) or some form of stretching exercise, and journaling may be offered as well.
Healing Stories is the beginning of the healing process, not the end.
